B Moneys journey started in 2007 in Troy NY. There he encountered Phil of Prism Glassworks. This was his first impression of lampworking the specific style of glass blowing that B$ practices today. It was an extreme departure of classic vision most people think of when they hear Glass Blowing. The torch the materials the infinite possibilitiesHe was instantly hooked. Eventually a few lessons turned into an apprenticeship. In turn this evolved into an invaluable life changing experience. After many years of education and hard work it was time for B Money to venture off on his own. Soon thereafter he landed back on Long Island where he was born and raised. Currently residing at Long Island Glass here he continues the traditions learned upstate of paying knowledge forward and routinely exposing new people in the form of glass blowing classes to lampworking. Which remains a core tenet of his business to this day.
